We have been working to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide and energy saving and were awarded the "2015 Good energy management of Middle Japan Electricity use rationalization committee prize".
On January 24 our Ekiden team took part in the local Kanie-cho Ekiden which is held once a year. Kanie-cho Ekiden has been held 36 times. We has continued to participate in it since when we were NTN Powder Metal Corporation. On the cold windy weather, each 5 runner ran 2.6km. The whole distance was 13.0km!

The result was 8 out of 28. On the day empoyees came to cheer them with the flag of NTN-AMC in the roadside.


January 15 (Wed.) New Year's Celebration ceremony of Japan Powder Metallurgy Association was held.
Before the ceremony, the excellent employee commendation 2015 is carried out and Mr. Tatsuya Nakamura from our Kanie plant was awarded.

This prize is for those who have contributed to develop corporations for more than 10 years in the manufacturing field of powder metallurgy.

Recioients of the prize were 20 people from 15 companies.








NTN Powder Metal Corporation hereby announces that we merged with NTN consolidated subsidiaries Nippon Kagaku Yakin Co., Ltd on December 1, 2015 with the aim of improving its developmental capabilities for new products and increasing the speed of development. The resulting new company will change its name to ‘‘NTN Advanced Materials Corporation.‘‘

By this merger we are going to complement our technology and know-how each other. We are going to focus to develop new unit products for electric car and self driving cars car, and high added value products such as module products.

The new company ‘‘NTN Advanced Materials Corporation‘‘ will cover the manufacture and sales of composite material products, such as products that use powders and alloys made of powder, products that use carbon, and products that use high-molecular weight materials. Business efficiency will also be increased by consolidating the administration departments of both individual companies, and the development and manufacturing technologies of Nippon Kagaku Yakin will be maximized to expand sales by harnessing the business deployment capabilities of the NTN Group.
